I’ve read this over a few times and I’m not sure it makes complete sense as it’s really more of a collection of thoughts, but I figured I’d post it anyway.
Some really thought-provoking stuff here Anya. Personally, when I am greeted by the concept that our lives will inevitably end and that we are all just made of atoms and energy that we have basically just "borrowed" from the universe, or that we aren't exactly sentient because we are just machines made of building blocks which aren't sentient, I resort to the current philosophy of life I use at the moment: Absurdism, whereby the only thing left to do is to live life how you want in the face of the fact that nothing matters and all values are just constructed. For me personally, this means trying to be an ideal person who is as selfless as possible and works towards helping others and building upon the people around me in positive ways. Although everyone is going to die, I think during our lives we can help eachother in a way that makes sure the human race continues and flourishes for as long as possible, so that we learn new things etc.

Thank you reading it Greg, I completely agree with what you've said here!
